Wadiaa Ferzly is a MA student in the Department of Social and Economic Communications at Universität der Künste (UdK) in Berlin and a writer and researcher in the field of theatre studies. She recently completed a cultural theatrical research on the issue of asylum in the Syrian-German theatre and her theatre text "Gangrene" was translated into French and published in 2020. She works in the cultural coverage and creative writing section of the Aljumhuriya website.
