Mudar Alhaggi is a playwright, dramaturg and cultural activist. He holds a BA in Drama Studies from Damascus University. He was an artist in residence at the Delfina Foundation, London, in 2010, and at Schlachthaus Theater Bern in 2014. He is the founder and artistic director of Collective Ma’louba at Theater an der Ruhr and of Nawras, an NGO that supports emigrated artists.
