Hanan Kassab Hassan is a Syrian theater professor. She was previously the general manager of the Damascus Opera, the general secretary of the Damascus Arab Capital of Culture 2008 and the Dean of the Damascus Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. She has been a member of the projects evaluation committee in the IFPC/UNESCO, Sundance Theatre Lab, AFAC, the Kuwait Prize, and the Doha Drama Award. She has written and translated a lot of research in the field of theater and culture.
