Milad Amin is a Berlin-based artist and filmmaker, who studied sculpture and fine arts at Damascus University. Between Damascus, Beirut and Berlin, he created sculptures and worked on concept artist pieces, graffiti, photography, film directing, videography and video editing. In 2013-14, while working as a freelance photojournalist for Reuters, he filmed footage for Still Recording (2018) and was part of the Rousl collective that ran social projects in Eastern Ghouta. He is co-founder of Riwaq, Beirut, the online gallery Sam Lenses, and the “Humans of Syria” project. His two short films are Hide The Phone (2015) and Land Of Doom (2017).
