A decade since the Syrian revolution began. Its impact on arts and culture is reflected in many ways - one of which is creative and artistic writing. Syrian writers in exile, and of different backgrounds, constitute a new cultural field and have created new types of creative writing, blending fiction, journalism and documentary. This panel presents current literary and journalistic projects, followed by a discussion with the writers about what it means to be writing Syria from outside.
