Mouneer Alshaarani is a Syrian graphic artist specialized in calligraphy. He was a student of Syrian master calligrapher, Badawi al-Dirany, and holds a degree in Fine Arts from Damascus University. Al-Shaarani has worked as calligrapher, book designer, typefaces designer, and writer since 1967. His work has been exhibited in the Middle East, Europe, Australia and the United States.
