Mariana Karkoutly studied law in Syria and finished her first master’s degree in Social Work as a Human Rights professional and her second master’s degree in Social and Political Sciences. She works as a legal investigator with the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) and as a project manager regarding political education with the Syrian youth initiative Visions 4 Syria. Additionally, she works with Adopt A Revolution an is a co-founder/ head of Gemeinsamer Horizont e.V. She is actively involved in different advocacy campaigns, such as #SyriaNotSafe.
